Several new SRPGs were announced this month.
Gloria Union was announced for PSP, which is part of the Union series including Yggdra Union. No, we still don't have Blaze Union. I suspect Atlus is still burned out on SRPGs and doesn't want to risk another unprofitable venture. Release date is Jun 23, 2011.
A new trailer for Gungnir, which was announced last month. It looks like Sting's most traditional SRPG yet, although I'm sure there will be some twists thrown in there somewhere.
Namco announced an SRPG titled Namco Chronicle. It's only available on Japanese cell phones, so you're out of luck if you were hoping to try it (probably not, but hey).
Ragnarok: The Imperial Princess of Light and Dark was announced for PSP. It's based on the world of Ragnarok Online. As usual, playing this game in English is unlikely. It's being developed by Apollosoft who also developed Blue Roses, another game you'll have to pick up some Japanese to play.
Tactical Soldier – Undead Rising was released on iPhone. It looks like a 3d turn based tactics take on squad based zombie slaying. There's a review up on Touch Arcade.
Some screenshots of Panzer Corps, a new Slitherine published PC game. Even better, the game is in English!
I've been made aware of a new PC squad based online/multiplayer tactics game titled Hostile Sector. It's currently very early in development but you can check out a teaser trailer on the official site.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars was released to positive reviews. I don't have a 3DS but it seems like a solid SRPG, if a little simple.
